JavaScript Job: Staff UX Designer

How you'll make an impact:

• As a Staff User Experience Designer, you will be responsible for designing new user experiences and creating design assets, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for our web and mobile applications.
• You will be responsible for delivering all aspects of amazing user experience design, working with product managers, engineers, account managers, and others to deliver world-class products for our customers and partners. Additionally, you will provide process leadership for other designers on the team.
• Help to set project scope and requirements for medium-to high-complexity projects, and mentor new team members on design and process challenges.
• Lead and direct UX design efforts for multiple teams through challenges and present UX designs to C-level leadership.
• Review teammates' designs and can provide useful feedback based on knowledge of design standards and our component library.
• Review implementations with Engineering, logs bugs, and follows issues through resolution. Propose improvements to existing processes and systems and influence decisions of the team. Recognize trade-offs and identify impact/risks between alternative solutions.
• Own the overall user experience and information architecture for our leading marketplace platform.
• Work with cross-functional product teams to ensure proper implementation of the product vision, focusing always on simplicity and ease of use.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce the implementation of scalable and flexible design frameworks and guidelines to support clean, consistent, simple user interface.
• Gain a deep understanding of our users by gathering user feedback and evaluating usage and user analytics to identify new and existing opportunities for improvement.

What you'll need:

• 4+ years as an user experience designer, creating excellent interfaces that delight the customer.
• Experience designing experiences for enterprise (SaaS/Cloud applications and platforms).
• Ability to think in terms of end-to-end UI design and global patterns.
• Apply strategic thinking and business goals to designs, focusing on user feedback and understanding the relation of visual design to the interaction.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work closely and effectively with Leadership, Product Management and Engineering teammates.
• A leader - a strong desire to collaborate with colleagues and work on broader product strategy based on your knowledge of what's going on "out there".
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Telecommunications, Marketing, Computer Sciences with orientation in Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of or experience coding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript would be a plus.
• Proficiency in English, oral and written.
• An online portfolio of completed design projects.
